There is an earthquake machine and there are dinosaurs. This is usually all you need to know to get your kids fully engaged. You get to see what it is like to be shaken by the ground and you can come eye-to-eye with a T-Rex. However, truly spectacular, is the skeleton of a whale that hangs the full length of one gallery – and the bugs are always fun as they open up an alien world.
